Delivita Kasai Bincho Tan Charcoal

Bincho-tan excels in our Konro grills and serves as a great alternative to regular charcoal in any BBQ grill. Crafted from dense hardwoods using traditional centuries-old methods, it is a preferred choice among cooks globally. Its ability to burn at higher temperatures and for extended durations, without emitting unpleasant odours, makes it perfect for preserving natural flavours while cooking.

Traditional Japanese Binchotan charcoal crafted from dense hardwoods using centuries-old techniques. These logs burn hotter, longer, and cleaner than regular charcoal, locking in natural flavours with less smoke and less flare-ups. Designed for high-temperature grilling, the hexagonal shape stacks neatly for steady heat and precision control, perfect for your Kasai Konro Grill or any charcoal BBQ.

Chef’s tip: Stack 2-3 layers of charcoal logs into a pyramid for stronger vertical heat. If you’re grilling for under than 3 hours, you’ll likely have some logs left. Lift them out with tongs, submerge in cold water for 30 seconds, then leave to dry for a day before reusing.
